This piece was inspired by the animated series “Princess Jellyfish.” When I initially watched the series there was barely any fanart I vibed with on the internet, so I drew my own! This piece was drawn at 11×17 inch in size, one of my first pieces at this large scale. It posed several issues in that I was not used to drawing this large, and I had to learn how to work my markers so that they blended nicely in such large spaces.

Tsukimi is a strange character to relate to, but the older I get the more I relate to the feeling of being left behind or strange because I am nerdy at my increasing age. Princess Jellyfish helped to inspire my dive into pastel fashion, and expressing my true self on the outside.
